“Getting into nuclear or coal powered plant construction is a long-term decision,” Terry George, of Bechtel Construction Company, told the Industrial Contractors Forum at SMACNA’s 66th Annual Convention, in Palm Desert, Calif., in October. It’s not always a level playing field, but right now there’s a wealth of opportunity, he added.
