SMACNA President Kevin Harpring recently made five appointments to the SMACNA Director Nominating Committee. These appointees join five other members who were elected during SMACNA’s business meeting held at this year’s annual convention in Maui.

Elected at the convention were: At-Large-Member – Linda Baker, Fritch Heating and Cooling Inc., Peoria, Ill.; Eastern Region – Richard C. Mertz, H.T. Lyons Inc., Allentown, Pa.; Western Region – Tye Halverson, Southwest Air Conditioning Inc., Las Vegas, Nev.; Midwestern Region – Ken Groeschel Jr., Butters-Fetting Co. Inc., Milwaukee, Wis.; Southern Region – David McKenney, McKenney’s Inc., Atlanta, Ga.

The appointees are: James Asbury, Bell Products Inc., Napa, Calif.; Matthew Cramer, Dee Cramer Inc., Holly, Mich.; Ronald Lapin, Lapin Sheet Metal Corp. Inc., Orlando, Fla.; Ernest R. Menold, P.E., Ernest D. Menold Inc., Lester, Pa.; George L. “Butch” Welsch, Welsch Heating and Cooling Co., St. Louis, Mo.
