Paul J. Alexander

Paul J. Alexander, of Straus Systems, Stafford. Texas, was elected to a four-year term on the SMACNA Board of Directors, effective Oct. 27, 2004.

“Over the years my career has benefited greatly from my involvement in SMACNA and I would like to give back to the organization,” Mr. Alexander said. “One of my personal goals is to make SMACNA stronger.”

His service history for SMACNA includes membership on the budget and finance, multi-service chapter and director nominating committees.

Mr. Alexander is a member of the Houston Sheet Metal Contractors Association where he has served in all of the officer chairs. In addition, he has served as president and vice president in the South Southwest Conference and is a Fellow of the Graduate Teaching Academy at Texas A &M University.
