It was a “Maui Wowee” night for SMAC PAC! The SMAC PAC Committee would like to thank and recognize all of the 475 attendees at the SMAC PAC Auction for their enthusiasm during this event, Oct. 20, at SMACNA’s 65th Annual Convention in Hawaii.

SMAC PAC raised $14,800 from the Diamond Dive. The winner of the $5,000 Diamond was Phil Gillespie, executive director of the Sheet Metal Contractors Association of Central Indiana. We would like to thank everyone who participated.

The Live Auction wore out auctioneer Jim Murphy because there were so many great bidders. Together, the silent and live auctions raised about $70,000. Adding to its core group of supporters, SMAC PAC raised approximately another $7,000 from the “Fund-A Club.”

SMAC PAC thanks its great bidders.

Thanks to the personal contributions from SMACNA members, SMAC PAC donated more than $350,000 to Congressional candidates during the 2007-2008 election cycle.
