SMACNA’s annual bargainers’ mailing was recently sent to all chapters. The mailing included key information on industry trends, health-care cost projections, FMCS services available and reporting requirements, a summary of the 2008 local area settlements, and key local agreement data.

The mailing also included what to expect during the 2009 bargaining season, construction labor rate trends and outlooks, and information on apprentice benefit fund contributions and the Code of Excellence program, as well as the Wage and Fringe Manual. The mailing is also available on the SMACNA Web site at www.smacna.org. It is located in the Member Resources section of the Labor Relations page under “2009 Bargainers’ Mailing.”
