The SMACNA Financial Survey, issued annually, is the only financial data available in the industry for SMACNA Contractors to compare their performance with other SMACNA firms. By completing the financial survey, SMACNA Contractors participate in the collection of the only financial data customized for the unionized sheet metal industry.

Again this year, members may complete and return the survey form electronically, using Excel, through SMACNA's Web site www.smacna.org in the “Members Only” area. Members must be registered for access to the Members Only area. The survey may then be downloaded into an Excel file, completed and returned to MOSS-ADAMS by e-mail. Completed survey forms, either electronic or traditional hard copy, must be returned by Friday, July 12.

Firms not submitting financial information must pay a $150 fee to obtain this important and highly sought-after report.

Participation from SMACNA firms is crucial in order to maximize the value of the results. This information is compiled into the "2002 SMACNA Financial Survey Report," which is the only financial data available in the industry that specifically focuses on union sheet metal contractors.

An independent accounting firm, MOSS-ADAMS LLP, the 13th largest accounting firm in the U.S., is collecting the survey information. To ensure confidentiality, SMACNA members send their financial information directly to that firm.
