SMACNA President Jack Desmond recently made five appointments to the SMACNA Director Nominating Committee. These appointees join five other members who were elected during SMACNA’s business meeting held at this year’s annual convention in Las Vegas.

Elected at the convention were: At-Large-Member –Michael Mamayek, Illingworth Corp., Milwaukee, Wisc.; Eastern Region – Lawrence Plevy, Schtiller & Plevy, Newark, N.J.; Western Region – William Burrow, Serfass & Co., Riverside, Calif.; Midwestern Region – Ken Groeschel Jr., Butters-Fetting Co. Inc., Milwaukee, Wisc.; and Southern Region –David McKenney, McKenney’s Inc., Atlanta, Ga.

The appointees are: James Asbury, Bell Products Inc., Napa, Calif.; John Jamison, Construction Mechanical Systems Inc., Grapevine, Texas; Ernest J. Menold, Ernest D. Menold Inc., Lester, Pa.; David Oschman, Striker Sheet Metal Inc., Medford, N.Y.; and George L. “Butch” Welsch, Welsch Heating & Cooling Co., St. Louis, Mo.
