Sponsored by SMWIA and SMACNA, the 2003 Mutual Gains Bargaining Seminar will be held Feb. 28 through March 1 at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort, Scottsdale, Ariz. Guaranteed to make your negotiations smoother, shorter and less painful, this program is being conducted by Bernard Flaherty of Cornell University.

Registration is free of charge and open to SMACNA Contractors, chapter executives and SMWIA local union officials negotiating in 2003 and 2004. Such individuals should presently serve on negotiating committees, as fund trustees or other labor-management committees. Because this type of training is effective only if labor and management are trained concurrently, to participate, both labor and management from a local area must participate.

Participating SMACNA chapters and SMWIA local unions only need to cover meals, hotel and transportation costs. For more information or a registration form, contact Jenny Brotemarkle at (703) 995-4032 or jbrotemarkle@smacna.org.
