A tight four-month deadline during a harsh Michigan winter, presented a large challenge to the crew of Expert Air Inc. during the installation of the pollution abatement system for Venture Industries.

The crew of J.B. Rodgers Mechanical Contractors/KINETICS recently installed a 420,000 cubic-foot-per-minute, seven scrubber system in the Mesa Motorola Semiconductor Products Sector (SPS) complex in Mesa, Ariz. The new system will remove acid and ammonia exhaust from a clean room.
The installation of two scrubbers and associated duct as well as a make-up air unit and its associated duct was a challenge that required the crew of Construction Mechanical Systems to complete the installation without production interference.
