As part of SMACNA’s strategic planning process, more than 660 members responded to the survey of SMACNA members in January. Participation reflected all segments of the industry. Of the 664 respondents, 55 percent were CEO/Owners, 22 percent VPs/GMs and 23 percent were project managers, senior supervisors or other management staff. The size of the responding firms generally was representative of the SMACNA membership, with 24 percent under $5 million in annual revenues, 36 percent between $5 million and $20 million, and 39 percent with greater than $20 million in annual revenues.
