Steve Taylor is the principal of Taylor Engineering in Alameda, CA. He is a registered mechanical engineer specializing in HVAC system design, control system design, indoor air quality engineering, computerized building energy analysis, and HVAC system commissioning.
Steve graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Physics and an MS in Mechanical Engineering. He has 40 years of commercial HVAC and control system design and construction experience. Currently, Steve is a Fellow of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and was one of the primary authors of the HVAC sections of ASHRAE Standard 90.1 “Energy Conservation in New Non-residential Buildings.”
