Grand Wailea: 
13.42% tax; $3 per room/$6 per suite housekeeping gratuity, plus tax; $11.50 per person, per room porterage gratuity for check-in and check-out, plus tax; $18 daily resort fee (includes lei greeting; unlimited, toll free and credit card calls; coffee/tea in room; in-room high speed internet access (up to 2MB); and more). Additional adult in room $25 per night; $100 in Napua Tower, plus tax. Maximum room occupancy 4 adults, three in Napua Tower. No charge for children 17 and under sharing room with parents using existing beds. Optional fees: $3 golf bag storage; $30 daily valet parking. Any cancellations or date changes received after September 16 will be subject to forfeiture of the one night's deposit. 

Wailea Beach Resort - Marriott Maui: 13.42% tax; $10 per person, round trip porterage gratuity, plus tax; $30 per room, per night resort activity fee (includes guestroom wireless internet; unlimited local and toll free calls; daily self-parking; and more), plus tax. Maximum occupancy four persons, third and fourth $40 per person, per night, plus tax. No additional charge for children under the age of 18 when accompanied by a paying adult. Optional fees: $3 per day housekeeping gratuity, plus tax; $30 per day valet parking, plus tax. Any cancellations within 14 days prior to arrival will be charged two night's room and tax.

Grand Wailea

grand-wailea-aerial-all-pools-1680x1136The Grand Wailea is considered one of the top resorts in the world.  The resort features luxurious accommodations, award-winning cuisine, and the unparalleled Spa Grande, as well as an array of recreational facilities and outdoor activities.  Situated on 40 acres fronting the spectacular Wailea Beach, the wings of the hotel have been positioned to bring a view of the ocean to the guest rooms.  Gardens surround each wing to offer variety, character, and room individuality. 

Guests must stay at the Grand Wailea in order to enjoy the hotel’s water park and pools.

Check-in/Check-out
Guest accommodations will be available after 3 p.m. on day of arrival and check-out at 12 noon on day of departure.

Baggage Handling
There is a one-time, roundtrip baggage handling fee of $11.50 per person, plus tax.

Parking
Valet parking is available for $30 per day, plus tax to all guests and visitors. There is no self-parking at the Grand Wailea. 

For the Younger Guests 

lei making The Grand Wailea’s state-of-the-art The Rock/Camp Grande is  available to children 5 - 12 years of age.  Twenty-four hour  advance reservations are required.  Camp Grande is a fully  insured, state licensed facility. The 20,000-square-foot  “Recreation Outlet Center for Kids” is a special haven for  children ages five to twelve. Staffed with qualified personnel  who also offer nighttime supervision, Camp Grande is  equipped with a children’s restaurant, craft room, theater,  game room, and outside play area. Activities include hikes, nature walks and special workshops, such as lei making, ukulele lessons and t-shirt dyeing. Camp Grande also offers two new rooms for children ages four and under when accompanied by an adult. The Rainbow Room features “Tunnels of Fun,” “Climb and Slide Play Center,” and a 21-piece block set. All three activity centers are made of “soft play” material in bright colors. The Imaginary Room includes Legos, building blocks, a play kitchen and a puppet show stand with friendly puppets.

SMACNA will sponsor an evening at Camp Grande during the final dinner and show Wednesday evening for children ages 5 to 12 who are registered for the convention. Special activities and dinner will be included.  Parents will be sent a consent form to complete prior to the convention.

Restaurants

humuhumunukunukuapuaa resturant Humuhumunukunukuapua’a is a “floating” seafood  restaurant named after Hawaii’s official state fish.  Affectionately known as Humu Humu, the restaurant is  composed of a cluster of thatch-roof Polynesian huts. Island  cuisine with Polynesian and Hawaiian influences.

 The Grand Dining Room Maui serves a bountiful breakfast  buffet along with other breakfast classics available a la carte.  With its 40-ft. ceilings and stunning 180 degree views of Molokini, Lanai and the West Maui Mountains, the Grand Dining Room Maui is the perfect place to start the day.

Bistro Molokini Enjoy breathtaking views of the Pacific while dining in a casual and welcoming environment. Bistro is a perfect choice for families, watching sports, a quick bite between time at the pool, or casual pau hana for groups or wedding parties. The cuisine is lighter fare with thoughtful ingredients that are found in Hawaii and sourced locally. Favorites include the Kalua Pork Flatbread from the woodfire grill or the Fresh Island Fish Tacos. The cocktails are inspired by the tropical weather and made with fresh island ingredients.

Café Kula is our Grab and Go Market serving Local Maui Coffee and Fresh Juices. Guests come together in this quaint café for specialty coffees, freshly baked pastries, acai bowls, gourmet Panini and pizza. Hawaii-made artisanal snacks, craft beer and boutique wines are available.

Volcano Bar offers sandwiches, salads and exotic drinks or smoothies poolside, amidst cascading waterfalls and views of the ocean.

Grotto Bar, located in the Wailea Canyon Activity Pool, is a swim-up bar serving tropical drinks to guests who never have to leave the water.

Botero Lounge is in the lobby situated among nine Botero sculptures – some of the most prestigious pieces in the resort’s art collection.

Spa Grande

spa The 50,000-square-foot, award-winning Spa Grande is the  largest spa in Hawaii, uniting Thalassotherapy and Ancient  Eastern and Hawaiian Philosophies with advanced technology  to address one’s wellness and beauty simultaneously.

 With 40 treatment rooms, Spa Grande features the unique  termé hydrotherapy circuit. Prior to treatments, guests relax in  the termé which includes a Roman tub, saunas, cascading  waterfalls, swiss jet showers, a Japanese furo, and five specialty baths, the Healing Waters of Maui™. The termé also includes a complimentary invigorating loofah scrub.

Spa Grande’s Fitness Center offers a vast range of contemporary equipment including treadmills, stair climbers, recumbent and upright bicycles and impact-free elliptical trainers.  The Wailea Beach Resort has undergone a $100 million  renovation, which includes a new adults-only pool and a pool for children that includes waterslides. Additionally, all guest  rooms and event space have been renovated.

A limited number of rooms are available at the Wailea Beach Resort – Marriott, Maui.  The Marriott is just a short stroll along the beach from the Grand Wailea. A number of convention sessions and the SMACNA Product Show will be held at the Wailea Beach Resort – Marriott, Maui.
