Industrial Contractors Forum: Industrial Ventilation Outlook and Opportunities
Oct 21, 2019, 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM, Grand Ballroom 3
The United States has witnessed significant reinvestment in industrial facilities in recent years, creating expanded opportunities for all stakeholders. FMI will present its outlook for the U.S. industrial sector, focusing on spending forecasts and the underlying trends that most influence demand for construction services.
This session will provide a comprehensive exploration of the future opportunities the industrial sector offers. FMI's research sets the foundation for further assessing the opportunities specifically available in industrial ventilation.
Following the presentation, you are encouraged to participate in an open discussion led by members of the SMACNA Industrial Council Steering Committee. They will address issues facing contractors today, including the use of BIM and project delivery methods, the benefits of tracking and documenting uncompensated work, and identifying new work opportunities with existing clients.
As a principal with FMI, Jay Bowman assists a broad range of stakeholders in the construction industry with the identification and assessment of the risks influencing the strategic and tactical decisions they face. In this role, Bowman's primary responsibilities include research design and interpretation.
Bowman earned his MBA from East Carolina University. He received undergraduate degrees from the University of Georgia in risk management and insurance. Prior to joining FMI, he worked with Aon Risk Services in Atlanta, Georgia.
