This program builds upon the interest based bargaining seminar that SMACNA and SMART have presented for many years and will transition into actual on site negotiations by parties who choose to stay, as a facilitator will be present to help each area with their individual, local issues. In this seminar, you will learn how to approach bargaining in project-management mode — a clear notion of what the beginning, middle and end activities will look like and a schedule to follow. You will know where you are at on each issue and on the agenda as a whole at all times. Before you leave Florida to resume your negotiations back home, you will have constructed a progress matrix for your entire agenda — and you will have worked through to completion at least one and possibly as many as three issues.
