  • 8:00 - 9:15 a.m. - Becoming a Person of Influence

    Leadership through influencing others; Understanding generational differences that impact influence; Establish an influential base of power within your organization.

  • 9:30 - 11:45 a.m. - The Impact of Productivity on Profit

    Identify controllable productivity obstacles; Demonstrate the financial impact of productivity improvements; Solidify the PMs role in influencing field productivity

  • 11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  - Lunch
  • 12:30 - 1:45  p.m. - Project Time

    Develop an initial plan and approach to the project.

  • 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. - Personal Feedback

    Understand the importance of feedback in personal and professional development; Understand the impact of organizational culture on honest feedback; Adjust working and communication habits based on personal strengths and weaknesses.

  • 3:30 - 5:15 p.m.- Project Tracking, Financials, and Forecasting

    Understand the use of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in project management; Identify project level KPIs and metrics; create a "PM Dashboard" to better monitor project performance.

  • 8:00 - 9:00  a.m. - Mentoring, Coaching and Performance Management

    Establish the PM as a key mentor and coach to project teams; Implement ongoing feedback to establish performance expectations; Understand the importance of measuring performance; Create incentives for improved performance in line with expectations.

  • 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.- Conflict Management

    Redirect positive energy generated by conflict; how personality impacts conflict; five possible strategies; and how to analyze the situation to determine your next step. 

  • 12:15 - 1:00 p.m.- Working Lunch

  • 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. - Negotiation Skills

    Understand the differences between collaborative and competitive negotiating; leverage  relationships to negotiate more effectively; view negotiating as a continuing process rather than an  event.

  • 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. - Meetings Management
