Council of Chapter Representatives Meeting

Taking place at Newport Harbor Island Resort in Newport, RI from June 4–6, the June 2023 Council of Chapter Representatives Meeting gives you the opportunity to hear all the latest SMACNA developments and future plans, along with the opportunity to have your Chapter's voice heard.

This meeting includes a welcome reception on the evening of June 4, followed by a full day-and-a-half of:

1. Reports from SMACNA elected officials
2. Reports from SMACNA National executives
3. Guest speakers
4. Open forum discussions
5. Numerous opportunities to network with your colleagues

Registration Information:

The registration fee includes Sunday’s reception and breakfasts during the meeting. Sunday's golf and Monday's lunch are charged in addition to the registration fee. Accommodations are paid separately by attendees upon check-in at the hotel. To register for the meeting, submit the online registration form with payment no later than April 28, 2023.

• Lunch Fee (Monday): $99
• Golf Fee: $177/$65 rental clubs (Sunday)

Hotel Accommodations:

Hotel accommodations are booked for you at the host hotel, Newport Harbor Island Resort, on a first-come, first-served basis, upon payment of the meeting registration fee.

Room Rate: $319, plus local taxes and fees (occupancy and sales tax 13%, plus $1 tourism fee)

All the above rooms are run-of-house guestrooms. These rates are available 3 days prior/post-meeting, based upon hotel availability. 

Reservations must be made by Friday, April 28, 2023. Accommodations will be made on your behalf by SMACNA on a space-available basis, upon payment of the meeting registration fee. A credit card is required to guarantee your hotel reservation and must be presented at check-in for payment of your room, tax, and incidental charges. Please note that the room block is sometimes filled before the room cut-off date, therefore rooms are subject to availability, and a possible rate change. SMACNA will contact you if the room block is full, or if there has been a rate change.

The hotel cancellation policy is 72 hours prior to the date of arrival. No-shows and late cancellations will be charged one night's room and tax. Early departures will be charged one night's room and tax.
