    A few years ago, workers from Ductmate Industries’ Monongahela, Pa., plant donned rubber gloves and Tyvek suits and decided to get dirty. They dumped out 186 pounds of trash from the facility’s dumpster into the parking lot. Then they spent the morning sifting through it, separating out the recyclable materials.
