CEA National Legislative Conference: Deliver our message, May 2-4

Mar 07, 2017

CEA_x250It is not enough for your vote to deliver a message in an election year. As a union specialty contractor your message needs to be delivered to every member of Congress throughout the year—every year. Join us at the National Legislative Conference, May 2-4, in Washington, D.C., and spread your message on Capitol Hill.

The legislative conference is part of the ongoing effort to address SMACNA’s and the Construction Employers of America’s (CEA) legislative priorities and provides a platform for delivering a unified message to Congress.

This year’s legislative conference is under the banner of the Construction Employers of America, the signatory contractor initiative coordinating action on labor, workforce, and construction issues facing the specialty contractor.

Sign up for the National Legislative Conference on the SMACNA’s Events and Education webpage today

As always, we will bring an industry’s “Who’s Who” of Congressional construction insiders and feature key members of Congress and staff to discuss the new landscape and the issues affecting SMACNA contractors today.

Help us deliver the message on critical industry issues to Congress—building the nation’s infrastructure, upholding Davis-Bacon prevailing wages, and energizing the fight for contactors on pensions, health care, and energy.

The National Legislative Conference, Washington, D.C., May 2-4, 2017, is sponsored by SMACNA, MCAA, FCA, and TAUC under the banner of CEA. Don’t delay, register today.

Your registration includes a special SMACNA dinner on Tuesday evening. As always, there is a members-only Congressional Insiders Club reception, this year at the SMART international headquarters with a panoramic view of Washington, D.C.

Don’t miss this chance to share strategies with your colleagues and to promote our industry’s issues on the Hill. SMACNA helps make Capitol Hill appointments for you. For more information, call SMACNA’s Capitol Hill Office at (202) 547-8202.
