SMACNA members’ participation is critical to amplify the industry’s voice on Capitol Hill. Members can start planning now to visit their members of Congress and staff to discuss important issues that affect their business and the industry.
This is SMACNA members’ opportunity to be an advocate both for their firm and the industry and have fun while doing it. Members will join colleagues from around the country for political education sessions, networking, social events, and lobbying meetings with their lawmakers on Capitol Hill.
The CEA National Issues Conference takes place at the Washington Marriott Georgetown, Washington, D.C., May 8-10. Attendees will also learn about regulatory programs and pressing industry concerns like composite plans, health care, and rebuilding the nation’s infrastructure.
The conference is sponsored by the Construction Employers of America (CEA), a joint initiative of seven specialty construction industry organizations that advocates for construction issues facing our industries.
SMACNA requests that members bring their voices to Washington and register today on SMACNA’s Advocacy webpage.
