LA Stadium & Entertainment District

Los Angeles Stadium 600x400ACCO Engineered Systems, of San Leandro, California, is a key player in constructing a transformative new $5 billion stadium that will serve as home to the Super Bowl-bound Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers when the world’s most expensive sports complex opens in 2020. Minnesota Vikings / U.S. Bank Stadium

us_bank_stadium 600x450Three SMACNA contractors worked in partnership with SMART Local 10 to make the 1.75 million square feet Minnesota Vikings / U.S. Bank Stadium a reality. MG McGrath of Maplewood, Minnesota; Sheet Metal Connectors of Minneapolis, and Albers Mechanical Contractors of St. Paul—all members of SMARCA of Minnesota – North Dakota – South Dakota—installed spiral pipe, multiple air handling units, VAV boxes, exhaust fans, fan coils, and 3 million pounds of sheet metal in the HVAC system alone.  Read more...

Levi’s Stadium

levis_stadium 400x250ACCO Engineered Systems, of San Leandro, California, hit the field running using hybrid integrated project delivery (IPD) and building information modeling (BIM) technology when building Levi’s Stadium—the San Francisco 49ers’ new home. They delivered the project six months quicker than the average National Football League stadium required. Read more...

Milwaukee Bucks Arena

BPV-WESC-14 600x338MG McGrath Inc., of Maplewood, Minnesota, recently completed the most visible, and stunning, elements of the new $524 million Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center, fabricating and installing a total of 317,000 square feet of metal panels on the unique exterior of the new Milwaukee landmark. The Milwaukee Bucks Arena is the cornerstone of downtown Milwaukee’s new 30-acre entertainment district.  Read more...

Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Inc. and BHW Sheet Metal Co. fabricated and installed more than 2 million pounds of sheet metal ductwork in the $1.5 billion Mercedes-Benz Stadium that is the home of the Atlanta Falcons and host to Super Bowl LIII. The intricate plans for this unique NFL showstopper made it no small project and a once in a lifetime endeavor for both Georgia-SMACNA members. Read more...

Las Vegas Stadium

Las Vegas Stadium 600x295The $1.8 billion Las Vegas stadium being built for the relocating Oakland Raiders is due to open in June 2020. UNLV’s Runnin’ Rebels will also share the stadium. SMACNA contractor, Harris Company, of Las Vegas, is doing both the wet and dry portions of the mechanical package valued in excess of $100 million.  Read more...
