SMACNA’s Project Managers Institute (PMI) was once again sold out and wildly popular with participants. Held from April 7-10 in Raleigh, North Carolina, PMI participants were taught the essential skills of effective project management by industry experts Andrew Patron and Brian Dwyer from FMI Corporation.
Topics included management, leadership, project planning, time management, and financial management. PMI participants learned how project managers in the industry take ownership of their projects by strengthening their proficiency in these areas.
Both Patron and Dwyer stressed the importance of learning how to select future projects that maximize profits and lead to higher rates of customer satisfaction. Participants left the program able to develop and grow profitable customer relationships, build and lead dynamic project teams, and with the knowledge to understand and master financial control of projects.
