SMACNA - Coronavirus Safety and Health

Coronavirus-1201807627 600x400In this complicated time in our history, it’s imperative that we share information about our businesses and the impact COVID-19 is having on the way we live, learn, and work. This is especially true for protecting the health and safety of essential employees amid the spread of the coronavirus.

Providing safety- and health-related information and resources will continue to be a crucial part of SMACNA and its Safety and Health Department.  Please note, however, that due to the nature of the virus and the complexity of workplace issues, there are safety and health questions and workplace situations that require specific guidance beyond the scope of SMACNA subject matter experts.  In those cases, SMACNA suggests following CDC guidelines and OSHA regulations, as well as working closely with the client/owner and/or general contractor to address proper protections for all involved.
