The 2019 SMACNA Board of Directors nominees have been announced. Voting on these nominees will take place at SMACNA’s Annual Business Meeting held at SMACNA's 2019 Annual Convention. Please take a few minutes to learn more about each of the nominees below.
Currently the Vice President of AGC, Inc., mechanical and piping contractors in Campbell, California, founded in 2000. A former mayor of Los Gatos in California, he is active in the Bay Area SMACNA Chapter, and is a past President.
Randy also had the honor of being selected Contractor of the Year in both the Bay Area and CAL SMACNA, the California State Chapter. He currently serves on SMACNA’s Legislative and SMAC PAC Committees.
Presently the Vice President of Finance at Miller Bonded, a mechanical contracting firm in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has served as a board member of the American Subcontractors Association of New Mexico (ASA-NM) for the past six years and was recently elected President. Shasta is also a recipient of the President’s Award for Outstanding Service to the Construction Industry.
Additionally, she has served on the iTi Supervisory Training Task Force and the Strategic Planning Task Force, and is currently a member of the Business & Finance Committee, SMACNA’s Convention Committee and the Women in Construction Leadership Council.
Wayne is the President of JEC Service Company, Inc., a mechanical piping, HVAC service and sheet metal contractor in Waltham, Massachusetts. He is active in the New England Mechanical Contractors Association and the Local #17 Sheet Metal Workers of Boston.
He has also served on SMACNA’s Testing & Balance Committee and is currently on the SMACNews Advisory Board. A former veteran of the United States Army, he volunteers at the Veteran’s Hospital in Bedford, Massachusetts.
Currently the President of Lancaster Group, Inc. in Ontario, Canada, home to three distinct companies providing fabrication, sheet metal, HVAC and mechanical services for industrial, commercial, institutional (ICI) and residential clients. Active at the local level in various capacities, he is currently a member of SMACNA’s Business & Financial Committee.
An Executive Member and Board Member of the Hamilton/Halton Construction Association (HHCA) since 2005, he now serves as its President. Blair grew up in a sheet metal family business and believes staying involved and engaged is important to both his company and the industry.
Presently the Vice President of Wiesbrook Sheet Metal, Inc., a firm offering a wide range of HVAC and architectural services including commercial, residential, industrial and geothermal applications in Plainfield, IL. He has served on many local committees and is a past Board member of the Greater Chicago SMACNA Chapter, as well as a trustee of the local JATC, and a member of the Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Association of Northern Illinois (PAMCANI).
Ken has served on SMACNA’s Architectural Sheet Metal Council Steering Committee, the iTi Building Enclosure Task Force and the NEMI Metal Wall Panel Installer Certification Program. He has been in the sheet metal business since 1978.
