The Department of Energy announced that the federal government will provide more than $5 million in funding for eleven future projects. The projects that will be funded are all aimed at increasing energy efficiency, water efficiency, and renewable energy.
Several of the locations set to receive funding under the 2019 Assisting Federal Facilities with Energy Conservation Technologies Federal Agency Call include:
- Fort Bragg, U.S. Army
- Fort Bliss, U.S. Army
- Fort Campbell, U.S. Army
- Fort Carson, U.S. Army
- Immigration and Customs Enforcement, St. Croix
- Immigration and Customs Enforcement, St. Thomas
