SMACNA’s 72nd Annual Convention Highlights New Ideas, Market Opportunities, Business Strategies

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Sheet metal and air conditioning contractors discovered fresh new business approaches, exciting new market opportunities, and promising new products at the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association’s (SMACNA) highly anticipated 72nd Annual Convention at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Sept. 27-30.

A line-up of innovative business sessions—featuring top industry experts Thomas Schleifer Ph.D., Steve Yoch, and Catherine Houska—discussed increasing profits through functional analysis, managing change orders, and real-world experiences featuring COBie deliverables.

Former Navy SEAL Robert J. O’Neill, one of the most decorated combat veterans of our time, delivered the keynote presentation, translating his leadership and team training into high-impact insights participants could use to become the “best of the best.”

Four market sector council forums delivered sessions tailored to meet the needs of contractors in the architectural, HVAC, industrial, and residential markets, including:

SMACNA’s Product Show, which takes place Tuesday, Sept. 29, during the convention, will demonstrate the industry’s best new technologies, products, and services.
