COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA) 2015 President Thomas Szymczak presented a $5,000 check to the Alzheimer's Association of Colorado during SMACNA’s 72nd Annual Convention in Colorado Springs, Colo., on Wednesday, Sept. 30.
For more than 25 years, the Alzheimer's Association of Colorado Chapter has led the fight against Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. They increase the understanding of dementia and its impact on family and community by providing information and support for those affected.
The Colorado Chapter is the premier source of information and support for the more than 60,000 people living with Alzheimer’s in Colorado, their families and caregivers. Their vision is “a world without Alzheimer's disease.” Visit the Alzheimer's Association of Colorado at alz.org/co.
Each year SMACNA makes a donation to a local charity in the convention host city.
