The Arizona Equine Rescue Organization (AERO) provides equine rescue, rehabilitation, and community outreach and education in the Phoenix area. They are a highly specialized health center that delivers the months of rehabilitation needed for abandoned, abused, and neglected horses requiring intensive medical care.
The organization provides a productive life for unwanted horses and offers a community resource for youth who find solace in spending time with the horses. Working in partnership with law enforcement, equine health-care providers, and community awareness, AERO is making a difference—one horse and one child at a time.
Operating without a paid staff, AERO relies on the efforts of their volunteers who contribute more than 7,000 hours in a single year. Learn more at www.azequinerescue.org.
Each year SMACNA makes a donation to a local charity in the convention host city.
SMACNA, an international trade association representing 3,500 contributing contractor firms, is a leader in promoting quality and excellence in the sheet metal and air conditioning industry. SMACNA has national offices in Chantilly, Va., outside of Washington, D.C., and on Capitol Hill. Visit www.smacna.org.
