MAUI, HAWAII—Kyle Bellmon, vice president of United Mechanical Inc., Oklahoma City, Okla., was elected to the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association’s (SMACNA) Board of Directors. His four-year term began on Oct. 25 at the close of SMACNA’s 74th Annual Convention.
“I have the management experience to help SMACNA continue to grow and provide the necessary tools for our contractors to be more successful,” Bellmon said. “I would like to give back to the association that has been a help to me and my company.”
Committed to the industry’s advancement, he currently serves as a SMACN-IFUS trustee and on SMACNA’s Legislative and SMAC PAC Committees. He has also served on the Director Nominating Committee.
Active in Oklahoma, he has served as president, vice-president, and secretary/treasurer of the Sheet Metal Contractors Association of Oklahoma and on many other committees including the Apprenticeship Training Fund, Health and Welfare Fund, and Industry Fund.
He attended Oklahoma State University and entered the sheet metal industry 1982 as a sheet metal apprentice.
