Pennsylvania State Sen. Reschenthaler Learns about Lean Manufacturing
Senator Guy Reschenthaler (R-37th District-Pennsylvania State Senate), a candidate for Pennsylvania's newly created 14th Congressional District, learned how SMACNA associate member Ductmate Inc. designs and fabricates their heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment during a recent visit. The Pennsylvania state senator (37th District) toured their factory in Monongahela and headquarters in Charleroi, Pennsylvania.
“Sen. Reschenthaler was very interested in our lean manufacturing processes and sustainability endeavors as well as meeting some of our employed military veterans,” said Stephen Nachreiner, marketing manager, DMI Companies. “The topic of the recent tariffs on steel also came up.”
A U.S. Navy veteran, Reschenthaler previously served as a district judge and served in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG) during the war in Iraq.
