BE4ALL will hold a Learning Journey session focusing on the observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. This event will reflect on the life and legacy of the civil rights leader through music and song and will feature Dave Dennis as a guest speaker. Dennis is a long-time civil rights advocate, serving as the Executive Director of the Southern Initiative of the Algebra Project. Dennis is also one of the original Freedom Riders. The Freedom Riders were a group of civil rights advocates who rode buses into southern states protesting the non-enforcement of U.S. Supreme Court opinions banning the segregation of public transit.
