The 13th International Industrial Ventilation Conference for Contaminant Control will happen from June 22-24 in Toronto, Canada. Every three years, this event brings together engineers, scientific minds, and regulatory stakeholders to discuss the latest research in the field. The theme for this edition of the conference is “Leading Edge Industrial Ventilation Technologies for a Low-Carbon Environment.”
The event will cover several core topics, including best practices for industrial HVAC systems, contaminant control through ventilation, while reviewing recent advances in modeling. Throughout the event, attendees will have the opportunity to attend technical sessions, participate in workshops, and learn from several distinguished keynote speakers.
Two members of SMACNA’s Technical Department, Senior Project Managers Patrick Brooks and Shawn OHara, will inform attendees on how to use SMACNA’s Round Industrial Duct Construction Standards Manual to determine the necessary construction details for round metallic industrial ductwork fabrication and how to design and specify round ductwork for industrial applications using what the industry regards as the primary reference source for this topic.
SMACNA strongly encourages our members, especially those living in Canada, to make arrangements to attend the upcoming conference. Click here to register for the event, and click here to review the technical program.
