The U.S. Department of Labor is opening up a new round of Susan Harwood Training Grants to increase awareness and education regarding workplace safety and reducing health hazards. These grants, administered by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), seek to assist underserved employers and workers improve workplace safety conditions. Grants are open to several groups, including non-profit organizations, labor unions, Indian tribes, colleges, and universities.
There are three categories available:
- Targeted Topic Training
- Training and Educational Materials Development
- Capacity Building
Applications must be submitted by August 1, 2022. Interested parties must register at www.grants.gov and the Federal System of Award Management to be eligible.
