June is National Safety Month

National Safety Council looks to increase awareness about injury prevention, workplace impairment, musculoskeletal disorders and fall-related hazards.

June is National Safety Month, part of a coordinated effort by the National Safety Council to bring awareness of some common workplace safety challenges. The Council will focus on four key awareness areas throughout June:

  • Week 1: Musculoskeletal Disorders
  • Week 2: Workplace Impairment
  • Week 3: Injury Prevention
  • Week 4: Slips, Trips, and Falls.

SMACNA supports both the National Safety Council and National Safety Month. Webinars, podcasts, and other materials will be made available throughout June through the Council’s website. In addition, National Safety Council members get access to additional members-only content.
