This edition (September 29th) of Member Update is the first to offer a new format for the email newsletter, designed to improve member’s user experience by providing emphasis to various content which should help convey urgency and/or importance to relevant information covered. It also enables video, audio content to easily be inserted.
In addition, the new format enables SMACNA to reshare previous important content in a new section titled “You May Have Missed…” This section covers the five most recent announcements concerning important documents or publications, important deadlines or important calls to action.
Finally, the new format enables members to quickly scan content in a mobile friendly format that is easier to read and provides SMACNA staff with the flexibility to present information in a more intuitive manner.
