OSHA Launches Heat Illness Prevention Campaign

Campaign looks to educate workers and employers on the need to remain safe during the hot summer months.

The Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) has launched its Heat Illness Prevention campaign to educate employers and workers alike on the need to remain safe during the hot summer months. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, heat-related illnesses were responsible for an average of 38 fatalities between 2011-2019.
