SMACNA’s Senior Leadership Meets with Chapters in Texas

The recent Association Leadership Meeting featured discussions on the state of SMACNA, the new economy, and its impact on contractor needs.

Recently, executives from SMACNA met with chapter executives and presidents in Irving, Texas, for the Association Leadership Meeting. This annual event allows chapters to receive updates from SMACNA on both national and local trends influencing the industry.

SMACNA President Tony Kocurek joined SMACNA CEO Aaron Hilger to open the meeting with a Q&A session, followed by a panel discussion with SMACNA’s Premier Partners on managing supply chain issues and their predictions for the coming year.

Michael Clancy, Partner and Strategy Practice Leader with FMI Consulting, then led several presentations that featured robust discussions on the new economy, its impact on contractor needs and the resulting impact on members going forward. Clancy also presented to the group a session on how leaders can beat the current burnout epidemic by improving workforce productivity. Attendees were given useful tools and strategies to assist with improving employee productivity. They were also shown how to become more effective leaders.
