SMACNA Premier Partner Milwaukee Tool continued the expansion of its manufacturing footprint by opening a new, state-of-the-art hand tool manufacturing plant in West Bend, WI. This new facility will manufacture new-to-market hand tools for the Electrical, Power Utility, Plumbing, and Mechanical trades. Some of the tools that will be assembled at the new plant include cutting pliers and screwdrivers.
Several dignitaries, including SMACNA CEO Aaron Hilger, took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the arrival of the new manufacturing location.
The new hand-tool manufacturing facility is the culmination of a $55 million investment by Milwaukee Tool, incorporating the latest advances in manufacturing technology and equipment. The new West Bend location will employ around 150 employees.
Hilger praised Milwaukee Tool for their efforts, saying, "It is wonderful to see Milwaukee investing in American-made tools designed with the needs of the trades worker in mind. We are proud to have Milwaukee Tool as one of our Premier Partners!"
