Signed into law in August of 2022, the Inflation Reduction Act represents a tremendous victory for SMACNA, as it secures funding for several of SMACNA’s key energy efficiency initiatives. The law also promotes the use of Registered Apprenticeship programs. Further, it strengthens prevailing wage standards codified within the Davis Bacon Act.
