Project Managers Institute (PMI)
September 17-20- Aurora, CO
This always-popular program covers the essential skills of effective project management for project manager. Specific topics covered will include: management/leadership, project planning, time management, change order management, and more. This course is recommended for project managers with two to five years of project management experience. Registration is limited – this program is expected to sell out quickly.
October 1-4- Rosemont, IL
Participants in this program will learn how to interpret a financial statement for better company performance, the best ways to calculate and interpret ratios and indicators, the intricacies of working with credit, and how to use financial information for strategic and business planning. Through discussion of these topics, this course will increase the knowledge, skills, and abilities of those individuals within a firm who are considered "non-financial personnel" but need to have the best understanding of the firm's financial situations.
Planning Your Exit and Business Valuation
November 5-6- San Diego, CA
Designed specifically for business owners looking to develop a planned exit from their business within the next 5 years, this program covers exit options, the sales process, and legal and tax consequences of selling a business. Participants learn what choices are available to them and what the realistic expectations and outcomes of transferring ownership look like. Additionally, they will develop a personal action plan that can be tracked and monitored, and they have the option to schedule a one-on-one session with the event facilitators to discuss their exit plans.
