Examples will include large duct over 120", Kitchen Grease Duct (Type 1 Hoods), system conveying Class 1 thru 5 products and options for seismic duct expansion joints.

Eli P. Howard, III, is the Executive Director of Technical Services for SMACNA. Mr. Howard has been with SMACNA for over 25 years and is responsible for all SMACNA Technical Standards, Manuals, and Guidelines for the HVAC, industrial, residential and architectural sheet metal industry.

Geoff Parks

Senior Project Manager of Technical Resources, SMACNA

Geoff Parks is a Senior Project Manager in the SMACNA Technical Resources department with over 30 years of experience in the sheet metal industry. His background includes completing a union sheet metal apprenticeship program and working in shop fabrication, CAD/BIM, estimating, project management, and senior leadership at a major East Coast sheet metal company.

William C. Farrell II

Senior Project Manager, SMACNA

William is a Senior Project Manager for the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’  National Association (SMACNA). Mr. Farrell joined SMACNA in 2020 and has been assisting with maintenance and development of SMACNA Standards, Technical Training and fielding Technical Inquiries pertaining to the standards.
