Brian Smithwick

Brian Smithwick co-founded ServiceTrade in 2012 with a vision to transform how commercial contractors leverage technology to build better businesses. As Chief Technology Officer, Brian leads the adoption of cutting-edge innovations at ServiceTrade, continuously monitoring emerging technologies across industries to identify opportunities that can benefit commercial contractors.

With more than 20 years of experience creating software solutions specifically for contractors, Brian has developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges facing commercial service businesses. He excels at translating complex technological advances into practical, user-friendly tools that help contractors streamline operations, improve customer relationships, and drive profitability.

Brian earned his Masters degree in Organizational Communication from Texas A&M University and his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University. He is a graduate of the North Carolina School of Science and Math.

In his free time, Brian holds the flashlight while his wife works on old German sports cars, watches his daughters swim, and very occasionally runs.
