William C. Farrell II

William is a Senior Project Manager for the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA). Mr. Farrell joined SMACNA in 2020 and has been assisting with maintenance and development of SMACNA Standards, Technical Training and fielding Technical Inquiries pertaining to the standards.

William has also been appointed as a voting member to the ICC-PMG Governing Council in addition to sitting on ASHRAE Technical Committees TC-5.06: Control of Fire and Smoke (Voting Member), TC-5.10: Kitchen Ventilation TC-7.02: HVAC&R Design Build (Voting Member) and TC7.09: Building Commissioning.

Mr. Farrell completed the Montana State Sheet Metal Apprenticeship program in 2000; then transitioned from the field into estimating and then project management. In 2007, William moved to Louisiana and continued working as a Senior Mechanical Project Manager across the Gulf South Region focusing on new Healthcare Facilities until joining the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association.
