New Model RT-40 Provides Comfort and Efficiency in A More Compact Package.
Article content provided by Greenheck.
Greenheck’s recently launched rooftop unit (RTU) offering now includes Model RT-40, which delivers 6.5 to 10 tons of packaged DX cooling, 1,200 to 5,000 cfm of airflow, and 100 to 300 mbh of indirect gas heating. Model RT-40 joins Models RT-70 and RT-120 to deliver up to 13,000 cfm across the product offering. The RT revolutionizes indoor comfort by controlling both temperature and humidity with industry-leading features as standard. These include inverter scroll compressors that maximize efficiency at part-load conditions; direct drive supply and exhaust fans that offer a wide performance range and standard modulation capabilities for variable air volume (VAV) systems; and electronically commutated (EC) fan motors on condenser fans that modulate to save energy by controlling head pressure.
Additional options to meet project needs include air-source heat pumps for all-electric cooling and heating; modulating hot gas reheat (HGRH) that enables simultaneous cooling and dehumidification without overcooling; modulating powered exhaust to maintain space pressure; and modulating gas furnaces for tight temperature control without the need for cycling.
