Executive Committee

The SMACNA Executive Committee is the association’s policy and steering body, responsible for all long-term planning, financial budgets, investments, policy positions, and statements.

Todd Hill, President

Todd Hill is SMACNA’s President and is the president of Allen Park, Michigan-based Ventcon. Ventcon has a long history of serving companies in the Detroit area with commercial and industrial services, including several customers in the automotive industry. In 2022, Ventcon expanded its manufacturing footprint by building a new facility in Jackson, TN, to service the Blue Oval City in Haywood County and BlueOvalSK Battery Park in central Kentucky.

A. Scott Vidimos, President-Elect

Scott Vidimos is the president of Vidimos, Inc., an industrial sheet metal shop in East Chicago, IN, which has been in operation since 1946. Scott worked part-time in the shop from 1972 to 1979, when he transitioned to a full-time role as an estimator and project manager. He progressed from treasurer/secretary to vice president before becoming president in 2003.

Joseph Samia, Secretary-Treasurer

Joe Samia is the President of Central Consolidated, which is based in Wichita, KS. In this capacity, he serves as Central Consolidated's primary engineer and supports other aspects of the firm's operations.

Gary Myers, Vice President

Gary Myers, Vice President of Marketing and Business at Intech Mechanical, Sacramento SMACNA, was installed onto SMACNA’s 2025-2026 Executive Committee. He begins as SMACNA’s Vice President and will help guide and lead national SMACNA for the next five years.

Tom Martin, Immediate Past President

Tom Martin is SMACNA’s Immediate Past President and President of T.H. Martin, Inc., a full-service mechanical contractor based in Cleveland, Ohio.  Martin is an industry innovator and highly regarded member of SMACNA-Cleveland, which represents more than 60 contractor firms in northeast Ohio. He has served as the chapter’s president since 2014.

Aaron Hilger, CEO

Aaron Hilger, SMACNA’s Chief Executive Officer, is a veteran association executive with two decades of experience as a coalition builder within the trades. As SMACNA’s CEO, Mr. Hilger is responsible for all aspects of the Association, including vision-casting, thought leadership, and advocacy. During Mr. Hilger’s term as CEO, SMACNA has embraced a member-centric approach focused on technological innovation, actively engaging in the regulatory and legislative process, and cultivating a strong partnership within the labor/management framework. In all of these capacities, Aaron remains committed to promoting the welfare of SMACNA members and the skilled trades as a whole.
