Caitlin Kantor

Caitlin Kantor is a dedicated mental health advocate whose passion for supporting others began during the eight years she spent living in Spain. There, she worked in suicide prevention, providing vital support to English-speaking immigrants navigating mental health challenges in a new cultural context.

She holds a BA in English Literature, an MSc in Psychology, and is currently completing a master's in counseling. Caitlin has extensive experience working with diverse populations. Her roles have included supporting Spanish elementary school students with learning differences, providing peer support to university students, and offering guidance to English-speaking retirees facing mental health concerns while living abroad.

Currently based in Vancouver, she works as an outreach worker. Since 2023, she has also facilitated workshops with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), where she fosters education, dialogue, and community connection around mental wellness.

Caitlin’s work is deeply informed by her belief in the power of community as a cornerstone of healing, as well as her own lived experience with mental illness. Her approach emphasizes empathy, inclusivity, and the importance of reducing stigma through open, supportive conversation.
