Jim Morgan

Jim Morgan is President, CEO, and principal owner of Worcester Air Conditioning, a union sheet metal contractor serving the commercial and industrial construction markets throughout Eastern New England. Jim acquired Worcester Air in 2008 following a career outside the construction industry that included leadership roles in venture-backed manufacturing companies and founding and selling a community newspaper.

Unlike many contractors, Jim did not come up through the trade. He brought business and operational experience to Worcester Air while drawing on the deep technical and construction expertise already within the company and the industry. Over the years, he has worked to bring these strengths together, with a focus on strategic growth, lean practices, and organizational development.

Jim is a past President of SMACNA Boston and has served on SMACNA’s national Board of Directors and HVAC Contractors’ Steering Committee.
