Joseph Lansdell

Joseph Lansdell is the President of Poynter, Indiana’s largest sheet metal contractor. Starting out as an apprentice, Joseph worked through the sheet metal industry, holding positions in nearly every department, including the shop, VDC, project management, estimating, and operations management. Utilizing his industry knowledge and his bachelor's and master's in Business Administration, Joseph focused on strategic planning and a culture of continuous improvement. 

As President of Poynter, Joseph Lansdell has harnessed the power of data to transform operations, scaling Poynter into a $400 million operation. His strategic use of data not only fueled growth but also streamlined communication between managers and staff—creating a culture of transparency and accountability. Joseph’s data-driven leadership empowered teams, enhanced productivity, and positioned Poynter at the forefront of innovation in the sheet metal industry.
