Stephen Staff

As a Talent Development Consultant with FMI, management consultants and investment bankers to the construction industry, Stephen specializes in creating and delivering customized training programs designed to develop world-class leadership and organizational effectiveness. His approach blends proven adult-learning concepts with practical applications drawn from 20 years of real-world experience in the construction industry.

Stephen brings an extensive work history with private and public sector owners and contractors. While working with the operations team of a national firm in the residential market sector, he created and implemented a national builder certification program to improve project team performance, field productivity and ultimately project profitability. He spent several years developing national homebuilder universities, creating training programs and delivering training for a broad range of audiences including field operations, division managers, regional and executive-level personnel.

Stephen is a highly respected presenter and has delivered programs across the country. He shares a broad understanding of the construction industry with people using first-hand experiences to make his training sessions meaningful and effective. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Science from Auburn University.
