2020 Notice of Endangered Status

This April 2020 notice from the Sheet Metal Workers’ National Pension Fund makes note of the fund’s endangered status for the 2020 plan year.  The fund was upgraded from critical to endangered in 2019 and is not projected to be in critical status for the next 5 years.  NPF Trustees are following a Funding Improvement Plan (FIP) and a FIP Schedule, which was updated in April 2019, in order to improve the funded percentage and avoid an accumulated funding deficiency.
