Douglas A. Ratley is the President of Dynamic Air Solutions, based in St. Louis, Missouri. With a career spanning over three decades, Doug began as a technician with Senco Service in 1988 and advanced to a project management role at Systems Testing and Analysis, where he worked from 1993 to 2011. Since starting at Dynamic Air Solutions in December 2011, he has led the company in delivering expert test and balance services for hospitals, laboratories, and commercial buildings, with a focus on code compliance, safety, comfort, and energy conservation.

Doug holds a wide array of professional certifications through the Testing, Adjusting and Balancing Bureau (TABB), including Test and Balance Technician and Supervisor, Life Safety Technician and Supervisor (Levels 1 and 2), Commissioning Agent, Air Quality Technician and Supervisor, Total Building Energy Audit Technician, and Fume Hood Performance Testing Technician. He is also certified in sound and vibration testing, infrared thermography, steam trap surveys, asbestos inspection, biosafety cabinet certification, and firestopping, among others. Doug is a Superintendent with Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 36 and an AHA Certified Healthcare Constructor. He is an active member of SMACNA, SMART Local 36, TABB, ASHE, MOSHE, and NFPA. Passionate about the future of the industry, he is focused on training the next generation of test and balance professionals and improving mechanical designs in surgical suites. In his free time, Doug enjoys church, family, friends, and spending time at the lake.
